A lot of fish species spawn in this period. The plankton of the Balear Sea was found to contain eggs and larvae of 10 fish families; the plankton of the Lampedusa Island regional waters, of the Adriatic Sea, of the open waters contained eggs and larvae of 7, 9, and 8 fish families, respectively.Приведены данные о размножении рыб и распределении ихтиопланктона в разных районах Средиземного моря в феврале 1977 г. В Балеарском море в планктоне встречены икринки и личинки рыб из 10 семейств, в районе о-ва Лампедуза — из 7, в Адриатическом море — из 9, в открытых водах — из 8 семейств.ru
