It forms here and there accumulations of 1100 sp/m2 density at the depth of 20 – 21 m. Animals reach 5 cm length and 150 mg weight near Sevastopol. Signs of the population suppression have not been mentioned for the last decades.Данные о местах регистрации ланцетника Branchiostoma lanceolatum в бентали Черного моря показывают, что он встречается вдоль западного и южного берегов Крыма, а также вдоль берегов Болгарии. На глубине 20 - 21 м он местами образует скопления плотностью 1100 экз/м2 . У Севастополя животные достигают длины 5 см и веса 150 мг.
