Directly proportional linear dependence of the production parameters on the value of the specific surface in laminated alga P. leucosticta permits concluding that an index of the specific surface may be used in the phytocenotic studies of macrophytobenthos as a relative estimate of the functional activity of different species depending on their morphological structure.На уровнях структурных элементов, отдельного растения и популяции рассматривается зависимость продукционных характеристик от удельной поверхности P. leucosticta. Показано, что толщина слоевища обратно пропорционально связана с продукционными характеристиками и прямо пропорционально с продолжительностью роста. Для онтогенеза гаметофита P. leucosticta выделено три качественно отличающихся этапа, связанных с морфологическими и функциональными изменениями таллома. Показано, что в популяции P. leucosticta относительный прирост массы линейно связан с удельной поверхностью: Vw = 0,0032·S/W+ 0,0055.ru
