It is stated that the dependence pattern is determined mainly by the fattening conditions. In case of sufficient provision with food a positive correlation is observed between the fat content of fish and their size. Under bad conditions. of fattening the dependence gives inversion: fat content of pubescent fish (and sometimes even of fish of younger age groups) decreases with an increase of their sizes.На массовом материале, собранном в летнее время в разных участках Черного моря в 1981—1984 гг., исследована зависимость между содержанием жира в теле черноморского шпрота и его возрастом. Установлено, что характер зависимости в значительной мере определяется условиями нагула. При достаточной обеспеченности пищей между жирностью рыб и их размером наблюдалась положительная корреляция. При плохих условиях нагула зависимость давала инверсию: жирность половозрелых рыб (иногда рыб младших возрастных групп) с увеличением их размеров снижалась.ru
