S. sharpiloi differs from others species of genus Senga, parasitizing fishes genus Channa, by the size strobila, scolex, apical disc, hooks, number of hooks (44 – 50 + 4), number testes and some other characteristics.Описан новый вид цестод Senga sharpiloi sp. nov. (Ptychobothriidae) от Channa micropeltes, выловленного у побережья Сингапура. S. sharpiloi отличается от других видов рода Senga, паразитирующих в рыбах рода Channa, размерами стробилы, сколекса, апикального диска, крючьев, общим количеством крючьев (44 – 50 + 4), количеством семенников и рядом других признаков.ru
