The relation is traced between the energy equivalent of the body weight of the animals and their linear sizes; in is shown that just the latter are determinant for the energy equivalent.В статье содержатся новые материалы по энергетическим эквивалентам массы тела ряда планктонных организмов Средиземного моря и юго-западной части Атлантического океана.
