There are given the dimensions of these spatial heterogeneities. A great significance of small-scale variability in developing of the spatial structure of the planktonic fields is stressed.На основе статистических оценок обсуждаются результаты биологических, гидрофизических и гидрохимических исследований мезомасштабных неоднородностей тропической зоны Индийского океана в период выполнения междуведомственной программы «КИПРИО-80». Приводятся размеры пространственных неоднородностей. Подчеркивается большая роль мелкомасштабной изменчивости в формировании пространственной структуры планктонных полей.ru
