A new Azotobacter species, inhabitant of Black Sea, is described. 2. The new form differs from the known Azotobacter species by a complex of essential characters. At the same time it has several systematic properties characteristic of known Azotobacter species. Hence the new organism was called Azotobacter miscellum nov. sp. 3. The ancestors of the Azotobacter miscellum nov. sp. are supposed to give rise to the modern sea, fresh-water and soil Azotobacter species.Новая форма азотобактера была обнаружена и выделена во всех основных районах Черного моря (восточном, западном и северо-западном). На основании морфологических, культуральных и физиологических особенностей мы относим ее к новому виду с наименованием Azotobacter miscellum nov. sp.ru
