In the regions with a low copepod biomass the anchovy feeds on Mysidacea, Amphipoda, sagittas, oikopleuras, Polychaeta and fish larvae. Inspite of a clearly pronounced euryphagia, the anchovy possesses a selectivity which permits it to choose in the first place large organisms matching it in size or the most numerous organisms.ru
