The functions σ2(t) and K(L) are established to differ essentially in the meso-scale region of the two models mentioned above. It is shown that the diffusion models typical of the linear turbulence regime and of the inertial subinterval regime are more characteristic for the open ocean conditions. In the coastal and the shallow water zones the deviation from these regimes occurs more often due to the peculiarities of the regions.Обсуждаются характеристики турбулентной диффузии пятен красителей для открытого океана как в рамках модели радиально-симметричной диффузии так и для реальных анизотропных форм пятен. Установлено, что функции σ2(t) и K(L) в области мезомасштабов для указанных двух моделей существенно отличаются. Показано, что для условий открытого океана более типичны модели диффузии, характерные для линейного режима турбулентности и режима инерционного подынтервала. В прибрежной и шельфовой зоне чаще наблюдается отклонение от этих режимов, что обусловлено спецификой этих районов.ru
