The problems of selenium distribution in aquatic ecosystems, essentiality and toxicity of various molecular forms of selenium for microalgae are discussed, also the characters of selenium assimilation and metabolism in different species are studied.Представлен обзор современной литературы, касающейся влияния селена на жизнедеятельность морского и пресноводного фитопланктона. Рассмотрены вопросы распределения селена в водных экосистемах, эссенциальности и токсичности различных молекулярных форм селена для микроводорослей, а также особенности их ассимиляции и метаболизма у различных видов.ru
