The food concentration amounted to 20 mg·l-1. The average duration of the prey capture in F. desmarestia was 7 min and in A. guoyana — 4 min. The period of food digestion in F. desmarestia accounted for about 8 h and in A. guoyana — 4,5 h. Daily rhythm of nutrition was revealed. In F. desmarestia nutrition prevailed in the afternoon and at night. In contrast to F. desmarestia no daily nutrition rhythm was observed in A. guoyana. Daily diets in both species are similar and amount to 18,4 % of dry body weight in F. desmarestia and 19,2 % in A. guoyana.Определена средняя продолжительность захвата жертвы: у F. desmarestia — 7 мин, A. guoyana — 4 мин.
