Dependence of the phytoplankton distribution on hydrological characteristics of water masses is shown. The mechanism of penetration of suspended and dissolved organics with CIL (cold intermediate layer) waters into deep-sea layers is presented. We outline the necessity of further studies of the main link between marine ecosystems, photosynthesizing algae, all over the sea aquatorium and under various hydrometeorological conditions.ru
