At the beginning of 21st century the catch of the most part of target species is from 10 up to 1,000 times less than 100 years ago or it is not available at all. The up-to-date fishing in the Crimea is based on the trawl fishing of the sprat on the shelf. The traditional coastal fishing is poorly developed.Приведен сравнительный анализ прибрежного рыболовства Крыма и, в частности, региона Севастополя в начале XX и XXI веков. По сравнению с началом прошлого столетия, вылов большинства ценных промысловых видов сократился на 1-3 порядка, либо отсутствует вовсе. Современный отечественный промысел базируется на траловом лове шпрота и приурочен к шельфу. Традиционный прибрежный лов развит слабо.ru
