Main attention was paid to the contemporary state of phytoplankton, which has undergone significant changes due to increasing anthropogenic eutrophication in the past decades. These changes occurred as enhanced development of peridineans and reduced development of diatoms. The number of cases of water blooms and increase of the total quantity of phytoplankton have shown that from the 1980s to the end of the 1990s phytoplankton development has stabilized. Perspectives of phytoplankton studies are discussed.Изложены результаты исследований фитопланктона северо-западной части Черного моря за более чем столетний период наблюдений. Основное внимание уделено реакции фитопланктона на антропогенное эвтрофирование, усилившееся в последние десятилетия. Намечены основные направления дальнейших исследований фитопланктона.ru
