The longitudinal relief is described on the scale which has the character of flow hollows acting as a laminarisator. The function of sclerite system on the elasmoid fish scale is analyzed and its constructive and hydrodynamical significance is noted. Sclerite-epithelial complex on the surface of elasmoid scale is considered as a dempfing system. Mechanisms of dempfing systems are compared in fishes with elasmoid scale and cetaceans; similarities and dissimilarities of these systems are noted.ru
