On the basis of treating the bathometric assays, 293 species and varieties of planktonic algae were found. Quantitative indices of phytoplankton development in the 0-100 m layer varied within the limits of 2-40 mill. kl/m3 and 8-987 mg/m3. On the Hindustan shelf the mass development of blue-green algae was observed and near the entrance into bay Oman and in adjacent waters Diatomeae predominated. The bulk of phytoplankton was concentrated in the upper 25-50 m layer.Обработка батометрических проб позволила обнаружить в фитопланктоне Аравийского моря 293 вида и разновидности водорослей. Показано их горизонтальное и вертикальное распределение в районе исследования. Установлено, что основная масса растительного планктона концентрируется в верхнем 25-50-метровом слое.ru
