Аннотация
Методами дифференциальной спектрофотометрии и флюоресцентного анализа изучалось пространственное распределение хлорофилла фитопланктона в северо-западной части Средиземного моря и северо-восточной части тропической Атлантики во время 7-го рейса НИС «Профессор Водяницкий». Установлено, что для пространственного распределения фитопланктона характерны значительные неоднородности, масштабы которых существенно зависят от гидрохимических, гидрофизических характеристик.

Space distribution of the phytoplankton chlorophyll in the north-western part of the Mediterranean Sea and the north-eastern part of the tropic Atlantic was studied during the 7th cruise of the research vessel Professor Vodyanitsky. Application of ПФл-2, ДСФГ optic devices as well as of fluorescence and absorption extract-free methods permitted determining space distribution of phytoplankton in water areas under study with a sufficiently high accuracy. It is established that space distribution of the phytoplankton chlorophyll is characterized by essential nonuniformities related to hydrochemical and hydrophysical parameters of sea waters. Sea water is sufficiently transparent, its maximum of transmission is within a range of 480-550 nm. The euphotic layer is 60-75 and more meters thick.
