Abstract (description)
The results of the experimental complex hydrophysical and hydrochemical studies of the flooded fields of sewage in the Black Sea are presented. The correlations between changes of the physical diluting speed, the destruction of the unstable organic material of sewage, and the salvaging of nutrients by phytoplankton are evaluated. The role of the physical diluting and the transformations of nitrogen and phosphates in the process of self-purification of sewage is determined.
