The present study was aimed to examine the helminth fauna in insular populations of the common shrew (Sorex araneus) in the north of the species range. The material was collected in and nearby the Kizhi Archipelago (Lake Onega, 62°1R N 35°12R E) during August 2012 and 2013. Sixteen helminth species were found: Trematodes - Brachylacmus fulvus, Rubenstrema exasperatum; Cestodes - Diestolepis diaphana, Neoskriabinolepis schaldybini, Neoskriabinolepis singularis, Staphylocystis furcata, Dilepis undula, Monocercus arionis; Nematodes - Capillaria kutori, Eucoleus oesophagicola, Soboliphyme soricis, Parastrongyloides winchesi, Longistriata sp., Longistriata codrus, Longistriata didas, Porrocaecum depressum.
