| dc.description | Myctophids are one of the most numerous groups among the World Ocean pelagic fish. On one hand the myctophids represent an important transport link on the ways of helminths circulation in the World Ocean, as they transfer the helminths larvae to the final hosts - the big bony fish, sharks, marine mammals and birds. On the other hand, they themselves play a role of the final hosts for trematodes, cestodes, nematodes, acanthocephales and monogeneans. | en_US |

С одной стороны эти рыбы выступают в роли окончательных хозяев океанических паразитов, большинство из которых специфичны к ним, а с другой служат дополнительными или резервуарными (транспортными) хозяевами в жизненных циклах многих видов трематод, цестод, нематод, являясь важным связующим звеном на путях циркуляции этих гельминтов в пелагиали Мирового океана. | en_US |
