In the tectonic active areas of the Black sea bottom up to the abyssal depth, we discovered the jet gas liberations which form the carbonaceous constructions overgrown with bacterial mats. The biogenic or, in some cases, chemogenic or mixed (biogenic and chemogenic) genesis of these constructions is established.
