Abstract
Description
New metacercaria found in fishes (Sardinops ocellata, Zeus faber and others) of the Atlantic Ocean are described. The scheme of the developmental cycle of the trematodes of the family Didymozoidae is presented as follows: Ist alternate hosts are Gastropod molluscs, IInd alternate hosts are Crustaceans; IIIrd alternate hosts and reservoir hosts are small fishes. Final hosts are large predatory fishes (Thynnus, Pelamys satda, Mola mola and others).
