| dc.description | Lepidapedon elongatum (Lebour, 1908) is redescribed. Trematodes were collected from the Atlantic cod Gadus morhua L. (the type-host of this species) caught in the North-Western Atlantic. L. microcotyleum Odhner, in Dollfus, 1953 and L. gadi (Yamaguti, 1934), both from the same host are regarded as junior synonyms of L. elongatum. | en_US |
