Приведен видовой состав паразитов, зарегистрированных у 15 видов рыб, обследованных в 1966 г. и 1972-1974 гг. в ряде районов северо-западной Атлантики.

As a result of parasitological analysis of 15 fish species obtained in 1966 and 1972-1974 on the Nantacket shoals, Georges Bank, Grand Newfoundland Bank, in the Massachusetts Bay and along the Nova Scotia, 37 parasitic species were revealed. Among them there were 2 protozoan species. 5 monogenous species, 6 cestodes, 9 trematodes, 6 nematodes, 1 species of acanthocephales and 8 species of parasitic crustaceans. Ascarophis morhuae, Capillaria kabatai and Bomolochus confusus were recorded for the first time in the North-West Atlantic. A number of parasitic species were found in new hosts and new regions.
