Values of free nitrogen assimilation by microflora are determined by direct measuring in Sevastopol Bay, the Danube and Bosporus regions and they amount to about 1.1, 0,9 and 0,6 mg of N per day, respectively. The portion of photoautotrophic and dark heterophic fixation of nitrogen in the total process of its accumulation is investigated. Possible values of the created protein mass are calculated.
