| dc.description | When examining oyster beds and experimental oyster farms, the authors studied ecological relationships between oysters and one of the components of the oyster bed’s biocenosis, the boring sponge of the family Cliona vastifica H. It is shown that from 25% (during the period 1967-1970) to 47,6% (during the period 1975-1977) of oysters in oyster beds of the Egorlitsk Bay and 23% of oysters in oyster beds of the Karkinitsk Bay were affected by the boring sponge. The ligament disturbance, perforation and other forms of an active destruction of molluscan shells are an important cause of great oyster mortality. A considerable loss of the body mass in affected molluscs. is noted. The obtained results make it possible to conclude that ecological relationships between oysters and boring sponges are of amensalism character, when one species (C. vastifica) oppresses another (Ostrea edulis L.). | |
| dc.description.abstract | При обследовании устричных банок и экспериментальных устричных хозяйств изучали биоценотические связи устриц со сверлящей губкой Cliona vastifica H. Повреждения лигамента, сквозное сверление и активное разрушение раковины являются одной из причин большой смертности устриц. Отмечено значительное снижение массы тела у перфорированных устриц. Между моллюсками и сверлящими губками существуют экологические связи, носящие характер аменсализма, при которых один вид — C. vastifica угнетает другой — Ostrea edulis L. | |
