dc.description | It is shown that the life time of squids in special fish-ponds depends on their physiological state. Cephalopoda can endure large oxygen deficiency (to 20% of the initial saturation) and have a low oxygen threshold (to 1 ml·l-1 of water). Oxygen uptake in the species of concern is in exponential dependence on the body mass and is expressed by the equation Q=0.940 W0,92. This is a one-order value and, though a little higher, it is comparable with the standard metabolism level in fast marine fishes. | en_US |
dc.description.abstract | На океанических кальмарах трех видов: Sthenoteuthis pteropus St., Ommastrephes bartrami Les. и Thysanoteuthes rhombus Tr. | en_US |
