| dc.description | The hydrocarbon composition of the Black Sea mussels from two bays was studied. Besides natural hydrocarbons those of anthropogenic origin were shown to be present. The amount of hydrocarbons was different in the mussels taken from different regions. The content of n-paraffins in the mussels from the bay «a» was almost 7 times that in the mussels from the bay «b» (21.05 and 3.38 mg/100 g of raw weight, resp.). It is possible to utilize the mussels as indicators of oil pollution. | en_US |
