| dc.description | A morphometric analysis is carried out for size and shape of the Black sea cockle (Cerastoderma glaucum) shell from biotopes of different salinity. The cockles are smaller in desalted regions, where salinity is 2-3 ‰ then in biotopes with usual Black sea salinity of 17-18 ‰. Growth of the cockles is isosymmetric. Shell indices (relation of basic shell sizes) vary more weakly than linear sizes, but with salinity decrease the index of variability of the shells increases. Indices of shell shape do not practically depend on their age and habitat conditions and can be used as a species character. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Изучено влияние солености на изменчивость размеров и формы раковины черноморской сердцевидки. Выполнено 8 станций в биотопах с разной соленостью. Обработано 400 экз. моллюсков. Средние размеры животных в биотопах с соленостью 17 ‰ выше, чем в биотопах с соленостью 2 ‰. В процессе роста моллюски сохраняют геометрическое подобие формы раковины. Изменчивость формы раковины шире при понижении солености. При обычной черноморской солености 17 ‰ раковины сердцевидок более вздутые. Индексы формы раковины почти не зависят от возраста и условий обитания и могут быть использованы как видовой признак. | en_US |
