For 25 years researches in hydrodynamics, structure and functioning of propulsive agents of water environment, hydrostatics of diverse nekton organisms (e.g., bentho-, plankto-, xero- and eunekton) are carried out in a biohydrodynamic duct constructed in Department of Nekton, IBSS. Profound analysis of data obtained using the original techniques allowed to state priority of these investigations and to propose new concepts and research trends.
