| dc.description | Some indices, characterising the hydrodynamic qualities of the form of penguin body (Eudyptes chrysolophus Brandt) in particular the value of relative lengthening of the body (U) and index of the body form (Y) are given. Values of general hydrodynamic resistance (C) of the penguin body during free motion in water for different ranges of Reinolds figures were obtained as the result of experiments. These indices C for penguin are compared to those of other sea birds. Minimum resistance for the same Reinolds figures is characteristic of penguin, then follow those of Uria lomvia, Podiceps cristatus and Phalacrocorax urile. | |
| dc.description.abstract | Приведены некоторые показатели, характеризующие гидродинамические качества формы тела золотоволосого пингвина Eudyptes chrysolophus Brandt, в частности величина относительного удлинения тела (U) и показатель формы корпуса (Y). Экспериментально получены величины общего гидродинамического сопротивления (C) живого пингвина на участках его нлавания по инерции в толще воды в различных диапазонах чисел Рейнольдса. Дано сравнение найденных показателей C с таковыми у других водных птиц. Меньшее сопротивление при одинаковых числах Рейнольдса испытывает пингвин, далее следуют: кайра Uria lomvia L., чомга Podiceps cristatus L. и баклан Phalacrocorax urile Gmell. | |
