Abstract
В 3 желудках голубых акул, выловленных на ярус между Дакаром и островами Зеленого Мыса над океаническими глубинами в 250-380 км от берега, среди остатков пелагических глубоководных осьминогов были обнаружены кладки донных осьминогов Eledone caparti. Дано описание зародышей на XIII стадии развития и яиц с задержкой 1-го поворота. Ранее не известные кладки и яйца E. caparti похожи на таковые E. cirrosa, но немного крупнее. Предполагается, что E. caparti распространена от мыса Кап-Блан до Анголы, размножается преимущественно в средней сублиторали и имеет пелагическую личинку. Хотя яйца E. caparti находились в желудках акул не менее 2-4 суток, они почти не затронуты перевариванием. По-видимому, голубые акулы совершают быстрые и направленные «охотничьи рейды» между шельфом и прибрежной частью океанической зоны.
Description
Egg-masses of the bottom octopus laid supposedly by Eledone caparti were found, among the residues of deep-sea pelagic octopuses, in the stomachs of three blue sharks caught by the longline between Dakar and Cabo Verde Is. over the oceanic depthes in 250 to 380 km from the shore. The number of eggs. in masses varied from 2,800 to 5,100, the average egg size at the early developmental stages was 8.9X3.8 mm. The eggs and egg-masses of E. caparti were not described previously. They resemble those of Е. сіrrosa but are somewhat larger. The embryos at the stage XIII and the eggs with delayed first reversion are described. Although the eggs were in the stomachs of shark not less than 2 to 4 days they were almost non-digested. It is supposed that the blue sharks make rapid and directed «hunting raids» between the shelf and offshore part of the oceanic zone.
