dc.descriptionYoung cells of the diatom Melosira moniliformis germinated from auxospores of the old generation are capable of reproducing auxospores and larger young cells. As a result the diatoms develop colonies of various thickness. This process is associated with both the reproductive phase in M. moniliformis ontogenesis and peculiarities of reproduction in diatoms.en_US
dc.description.abstractМолодые клетки Melosira moniliformis, образовавшиеся из ауксоспор старой генерации, способны вновь давать ауксоспоры и более крупные молодые клетки. В результате образуются колонии разной толщины. Этот процесс связан с репродуктивной фазой онтогенеза данного вида, а также с особенностями размножения диатомовых водорослей.en_US
