Features of the morphology of seven specimens of rhizocephalid B. callosus Boschma, 1930 parasitizing on the craboids P. spectabilis. Hansen are presented. The hosts were caught in the Antarctic (the Indian Ocean, approximately latitude 52°S and longitude 41°E) in 1982 and 1984. Rhizocephalids of this species, as well as the craboids mentioned, have been noted in this region of the Antarctic for the first time. Seven cyprises of B. callosus were found on the smallest specimens of P. spectabilis (carapace length 50 and 57 mm).
