| dc.description | The first results of 210Po determination in the total mesozooplankton and in the representative species of the macroplankton community of the Black Sea, ctenophore Beroe ovata, are presented. In 2000-2001, the range of 210Po concentrations in the mesozooplankton was 1.71-3.5 Вq/kg wet weight. 210Po concentrations in B. ovata were 1.18-2.91 Bq/kg wet weight. The order of 210Po concentration factors by the investigated species is 104. The comparison of these data with the known ones from other marine regions is given. The study was carried out in the framework of the IAEA technical cooperative project RER/2003 "Marine Environmental Assessment in the Black Sea Region". | en_US |
