Abstract
В настоящем сообщении приводится описание еще 3 новых видов рода Calocalanus, найденных при обработке зоопланктонных проб, собранных в 19-м рейсе научно-исследовательского судна «Михаил Ломоносов» в Индийском океане. Пробы взяты большой сетью Джеди из газа № 49, с диаметром входного отверстия 36 см. Материал фиксировался 4%-ным формалином. Голотипы описанных видов находятся в Институте биологии южных морей АН УССР в г. Севастополе.
Description
3 new species of the genus Calocalanus (Copepoda, Calanoida) were described from the Indian Ocean. C. omaniensis sp. n. resembles C. gracilis Tanaka in size and form but differs from it in the number of abdominal joints (4 versus 3), the length of apical bristle of exopodites of I—III pairs of swimming legs and the terminal armorage of the V pair of legs. C. pyriformis sp. n. differs distinctly from other species of the genus in the body form, the asymmetric structure of the V pair of swimming legs and a very short furca. C. longifurca sp. n. resembles externally C. plumatus Shmeleva but differs from it in the number of abdominal joints and the length of furca, the number of bristles on the V pair of swimming legs and the absence of spines on the 2nd joint of endopodite of the II and III pairs of swimming legs.
