Abstract
Приведены описания 3 новых видов сем. Capsalidae: Pseudobenedenia gibberifrons, P. dissostichii, Pseudobenedeniella branchilis, из которых последний относится к новому роду. Обсуждаются вопросы эволюции капсалид родов Pseudobenedenia, Pseudobenedenoides и Pseudobenedeniella в связи с эволюцией их хозяев — нототеноидных рыб.
Description
New species of Pseudobenedenia from the skin of the notothenoid fishes are described and illustrated: P. gibberifrons sp. nov. from the fins of Gobionotothen (=Notothenia) gibberifrons and P. dissostichii sp. nov. from the body skin of Dissostichus eleginoides. These species differ from P. nototheniae Jonston mainly in size and form of the body, sexual organs and sclerites of the haptor. Pseudobenedeniella branchialis gen. et sp. nov. is described from the gills of Notothenia rossii marmorata. It is characteristic by the haptor with 7 radially arranged septa. The haptor is folded along a transverse line and acts as the clamp grasping the primary lamella of gill. Unlike the skin parasites of the genus Pseudobenedenia the accessory sclerites of Pseudobenedeniella are poorly developed and have degenerated appearance. The evolution of Pseudobenedenia, Pseudobenedenoides and Pseudobenedeniella is discussed with reference to their hosts — the notothenoid fishes.
