Main results of own researches of the zooplankton in the north-western part of the Indian ocean conducted in the Institute of the Biology of Southern Seas (IBSS) are presented. The community of the zooplankton of the north-western part of the Indian ocean differs by stability of the structure and the distribution that is stipulated by features of the regional hydrology.
