На основании эхолотных записей оценена относительная площадь, занимаемая скоплениями эвфаузиид разной плотности, и рассчитана общая биомасса рачков на акватории 50 тыс. км2.

A relative area occupied by Euphasiidae accumulations of different density is estimated and the total biomass of copepods is calculated for the water area of 50 000 km2 on the basis of the echo-sounding.
