Description
The dependence of the oxygen consumption and coefficient of mechanic-chemical conjugation on locomotion mechanic energy for 6 species of Black Sea and Mediterranean Copepods is established. The respiration rate has a weak dependence with mechanic energy as while pure coefficient of the locomotion efficiency in Copepods increase monotonously from 2,5—6 to 22 %, depending on force of muscle contraction and portion of escape leaps in swimming.
