dc.descriptionWhile measuring the vertical distribution of transparency by the method of continuous sounding it was discovered that intensity of some layers of lower transparency depends on the character of the instrument movement. The investigations carried out show that these "scattering" layers are formed by mobile water organisms responding to the presence of a measuring instrument. The differences in values of the coefficients of attenuation measured by the moving and fixed instrument make it possible to judge about the role of zoo- and phytoplankton in the formation of one or another layer lower transparency in the sea.
dc.description.abstractПри измерениях вертикального распределения прозрачности методом непрерывного зондирования было обнаружено, что интенсивность некоторых слоев пониженной прозрачности зависит от характера движения прибора. Проведенные исследования показали, что эти “разбегающиеся” слои образованы подвижными водными организмами, реагирующими на присутствие измерительного прибора. Различие значений показателя ослабления, измеренных движущимся и неподвижным прибором, дает возможность судить о роли зоо- и фитопланктона в образовании тех или иных слоев пониженной прозрачности в море.
