| dc.description | Observations in the Black Sea (carried out from the underwater laboratory) at the depth of 100 m have shown that detritus aggregates 0.5-5 mm in size are usually flacky („marine snow"), those about 10-20 mm are like garland filaments, „cometoids". The 2-4 mm aggregates prevail in the layer of 0-20 m (over the summer jump of density), those 4-6 mm long — in the layer of 20-50 m, 6-8 mm ones at the bottom below 50 m. The largest 50-100 cm aggregates are formed below the jump. The large aggregates may be found near the surface under cold waters rise. A 0.5-2.5 in long mass of medusiform detritus aggregates was observed in the Aegean Sea (in August). | en_US |

В слое 0—20 м (над летним скачком плотности) преобладают агрегаты 2—4 мм, в слое 20—50 м — длиной 4—6 мм, ниже 50 м и у дна — 6—8 мм. Наибольшие агрегаты— 50—100 см — образуются ниже скачка. Крупные агрегаты могут оказаться у поверхности при подъеме холодных вод. В Эгейском море (в августе) наблюдали у поверхности массу медузоподобных агрегатов детрита длиной 0,5—2,5 м. | en_US |
