Аннотация
Сопоставление рельефа, механического состава осадков, гидрологических и гидрохимических характеристик позволило выделить на дне Ялтинского залива четыре физико-географических пояса, а в их пределах физико-географические горизонты. Полученные результаты предлагается использовать как основу для анализа бентоса с целью устранения недостатков традиционных подходов в выделении донных сообществ.
Аннотация (alternative)
The combined analysis of the relief, mechanical composition of sediments and of hydrological and hydrochemical characteristics of the bottom layer has permitted distinguishing such vertical subdivisions of the Yalta Bay shelf as physical-geographical belts and within their ranges as physical-geographical horizons. It seems that the benthos analysis within the ranges of the mentioned subdivisions will eliminate basic defects of traditional approaches to distinguishing benthic communities. The analysis permits determining the response of the benthic organisms to the deliberately equal or different abiotic conditions, objectivizing a number of biotic indices, substantiating and widely using the methods of indication and extrapolation by the environmental factors and compiling different-scale geographical maps of the benthic population.
