The metabolism rate was studied in squids, octopuses, salps and some crustaceans at their habitat temperatures. The parameters are determined representing a quantitative characteristic of the relation between the metabolism and mass of the animals. It is shown that the metabolism levels are the highest in Cephalopoda class and the lowest, in Tunicata subphylum.
