| dc.description | Hydrocarbons are incorporated into a body of all marine organisms. However, the pollution of seas with oil and oil products results in accumulation of hydrocarbons of allochthonic origin in hydrobionts. Despate great difficulties, it is possible to differentiate natural hydrocarbons from petroleum hydrocarbons in organisms by using the methods of gas-liquid chromatography, infrared spectrometry, mass-spectrometry. Criteria are presented for differing hydrocarbons. accumulated due to biosynthesis and pollution. The examples of oil hydrocarbons absorption and distribution in marine biota, possibilities of biological monitoring of oil pollution are analyzed. | en_US |
