Для диатомовой водоросли Melosira moniliformis (O. Mull.) Ag. var. subglobosa Grun. характерны простые жизненные циклы, включающие фазы вегетативного роста и ауксоспорообразования, За год клон проходит пять последовательных циклов, длительность которых зависит от сезонных изменений условий освещения. Самый короткий — весенне-летний цикл. Циклы, охватывающие зимний сезон, в два раза продолжительнее. Условия освещения влияют на длительность обеих фаз. В весенне-летний период вегетативный рост сопровождается образованием очень длинных колоний, а осенью и зимой — коротких. Всплывание колоний под пленку поверхностного натяжения в основном было связано с периодами ауксоспорообразования и происходило во второй половине зимы и весной.
Аннотация (alternative)
The alga Melosira moniliformis var. subglobosa has simple life cycles consisting of the vegetative phase and the phase of auxospore production. During the year the strain underwent five consecutive cycles, the length of which depends on the seasonal changes in ambient light conditions. The spring-summer cycle was the shortest. The cycles occurring in winter were twice as lung. The light conditions affected the duration of both phases. In the spring-summer period the vegetative growth was accompanied by the formation of very long colonies and during the autumn and winter short colonies formed. The rise of some colonies to the surface of the medium was generally connected with the periods of auxospore production and could be observed only in the second half of winter or in spring.
