Кинематика полета и морфологические особенности крыльев берингийского (Phalacrocorax pelagicus Pall.) и краснолицего (Phalacrocorax urile Gm.) бакланов в сравнении с другими водоплавающими птицами

| dc.description | Filming and collected morphological materials on wings allow obtaining and analyzing kinematic parameters of horizontal flight of Phalacrocorax pelagicus Pall. and Phalocrocorax urile Gm. with regard for structural peculiarities of their flight organs. A rectilinear dependence of the flight velocity on the frequency of the wings flaps has been determined. Maximal, minimal and cruising velocities of flight of Phalacrocorax urile Gm are somewhat higher than those of Phalacrocorax pelagicus Pall and are 72.0; 40.0; 55.0 km/h and 70.0; 38.0; 53.0 km/h, respectively. Frequency of the wing flaps in both species is within 4-6 Hz. Load on wings is higher in Phalacrocorax urile Gm. (1.43 g/cm2) than in Phalacrocorax pelagicus Pall (1.31 g/cm2), its wings being less elongated. As to the reduced step magnitude these birds differ but slightly from each other. The obtained data are compared with those for birds from other orders with different degree of their adaptation to water medium. | en_US |
