Data of IR-spectroscopy show that active chlorine when it enters into the sea water promotes the toxicity of the environment. In low concentration (till 0,2 mg/l) it is a result of formation of organochlorine, in high concentrations — of hyperoxidized fragments. Threshold concentration of active chlorine for periphiton organism community is 3,0 mg/l. Exceeding of this concentration conduct to the irreversible oxidizing destruction of organic matter of the cenosis and to its death.
