Description
The spatial, or territorial connections between different species of demersal fishes on the shelf and continental slope of Guinea had been investigated with the aim of revealing the fish communities. The index of association Czekanowski — Sorensen had been used for comparison estimation of the interspecific connections. Four recurrent groups of species assemblages had been determined, which inhabit on different types of bottom sediments. The biotopic differences between fish communities are related with their food specialization.
